Visitor Photographs

Over the past couple of weeks, some staff members have stumbled across some great photography from visitors to RBG.

Body, Soul and Spirit, a blog by Ruth, captures some great outdoor shots of her family enjoying playing on the ice and feeding the Chickadees at Laking Garden, Grindstone Creek and Sunfish Pond.

Madlycool paid a visit to RBG and enjoyed some time walking through the Mediterranean Garden and discovering some new and exotic plantlife, as well as exploring the EarthArt and SculptArt exhibits which are currently running at RBG Centre.

Head on over to Tom Flemming’s Flickr page and check out his photographs of RBG gradens and trails. Tom has six albums dedicated to Royal Botanical Gardens with very beautiful summer and winter shots.

Many thanks for snapping such wonderul photos of RBG and showcasing them on your sites!

RBG and I Wear Your Shirt

Royal Botanical Gardens is thrilled to be partnering with Jason Sadler of I Wear Your Shirt, in 2009.

Jason will be joining in the RBG festivities April 17 – 22 to take part in the Backyard Monsters exhibit, and to help promote the 2009 Bloom Celebrations.

I Wear Your Shirt is a simple concept, each day of the year is priced at face value, where January 1 is $1 and December 31 is $365. Absolutely anyone can book a day or two (or even a whole month) and Jason will wear your shirt, write a blog, and take some pictures and videos of himself wearing the shirt you sent while he goes about his daily routine.

Be sure to come by and visit the Backyard Monsters exhibit and say hello to Jason while he is joining in the fun at RBG.

If you would like more information about I Wear Your Shirt, or would like to book some calendar time, please visit the official site, www.iwearyourshirt.com.
